Biogas produced in digestion process is very wet. Relative humidity of biogas from anaerobic reactors and digesters reaches 100%.
Excessive humidity decreases biogas combustion efficiency by boilers or/and generators. Even low H2S concentrations in connection with high biogas humidity can significantly increase corrosion of biogas network devices and pipes.
Biogas drying stations offered by SiGa-Tech can lower relative humidity from 100% to 20-30%. Our system is very simple from technological point of view and highly efficient at the same time.
First step of biogas drying is cooling process. Cooling module can be built as external container station with active security system or as skid frame version ready to be put on foundation. Cooling module can also be assembled internally – inside technological rooms, boiler rooms or co-generator rooms.
SiGa-Tech also offers cooling modules combined with gas blowers which increase biogas pressure and heat it at the same time.

Second step of biogas drying is heating process. Heating modules can be built as external container station or as skid frame version ready to be put on foundation equipped with multi-stream heat exchangers supplied with hot water or equipped with electrical heating. Heating module can also be assembled internally – inside technological rooms, boiler rooms or co-generator rooms. Heating module is equipped with fluent hot water flow regulation which can assure required biogas parameters after biogas heating.
